Scholars or users wishing to cite verbatim from documents for inclusion in oral or written reports, verbal presentations, classroom projects, can copy reasonable portions of the content, not surpassing the 'fair use' standard under the U.S. Copyright Act, but must obtain permission from the YIVO Archives, as per above paragraph, if any of these verbatim citations are planned for any form of publication, whether in hard copy or on the Internet.
