Title:
Regulations for working as a kosher slaughterer
Description:
Leaflet issued by the Vaad Hakehillah (Jewish community council) of Zychlin and signed by rabbis of other communities reviewing the regulations for working as a kosher slaughterer, originally issued in Hebrew but here in Yiddish translation. Any slaughterer who works without the permission of the Vaad is forever banned from working as shoykhet (ritual slaughterer) in Zychlin or any other Jewish community, and anything they slaughter will be considered treyf (unkosher). Members of the Jewish community are urged to "rip" the miscreants "out by the roots."
