One of three large folk print portraits of Rabbi Mordechai Rozenblat Veitzel of Oszmiana and Slonim (1836-1916), by various artists in Vilna, Slonim, and Warsaw. Rabbi Rozenblatt was a talmudic scholar with a widespread reputation for his scholarship, saintliness and kindness. Large numbers of people travelled to Rabbi Rozenblat to seek his advice and blessings. This portrait is a lithograph printed by Ch. Laskoff of Vilna.
