Bilingual Polish/Yiddish official document
A pass from the Grodno Municipality for Abramowicz, the director of a Jewish orphanage who needs to escort eight sick children to an eye doctor in Bialystok. The bilingual Polish/Yiddish letter, signed by the Mayor, and the bilingual stamp reflect  the fact that Yiddish was at the time recognized in Grodno as an official language.
