Letter to Ben-Tsion Dubnow  from the Ministry of Education about the purchase of a school building.
Description:
Letter to Ben-Tsion Dubnow from Mr. Niemeyer, Supervisor,  Department of  "Dvoryanskoe Uchilischie" [Educational Institutions for the Nobility], Province of Mohilev, Ministry of Education.  The school which is the subject of this letter,  had held classes for several years in a building owned by Ben-Tsion Dubnow. The school had been attended by children of the noble classes.  The department of "Dvoryanskoe Uchilischie" wanted to purchase the building instead of leasing it from Dubnow.  They asked Dubnow to name a price and to submit the building floor plan.  Mstislavl.  December 3, 1856.
