Title:
Letter from Director of Tarbut to the Tarbut Teachers Seminary in Vilna
Description:
Letter from M. Gordon, director of Tarbut (Culture, a network Hebrew educational institutions), Warsaw, to the Tarbut Teachers Seminary in Vilna, in reply to their letter of 11/26.  Gordon promises  that in a few days he will send them a trunk containing supplies for the most needy students: 50 towels, 5 blouses for women, 5 dresses, 10 pairs of men's' shoes, 60 sets of underwear, 10 pairs of trousers, and 24 pieces of soap. These items should not be given out free, but rather handed over to the student council to decide how they should be distributed. Payments should go to the mutual-aid fund of the seminary students. The soap should be used sparingly so that it will last for a couple of months. Unfortunately, he cannot satisfy their request for a second typewriter.
