Description:
The recipient of this graduation certificate completed his course of studies at the Hebrew Teachers' Seminary in Vilna. Until 1873 the school functioned as a Rabbinical Seminary under the jurisdiction of the state. After 1873 only the Teachers' Institute continued to function. The student entered the primary school August 1880 and he attended the school until June 15, 1883. According to the certificate, he excelled in his studies and his school results in General and Jewish studies were as follows: Russian, Good; Arithmetic, Excellent; Calligraphy, Good; Jewish Religion, Very Good; Hebrew, Good; Biblical History, Good.
