Hirsz Uszpol from Dukszty, Pol. requests that a VILBIG (Vilner Yidishe Bildungs Gezelshaft; Vilna Jewish Education Society) branch be established in his town, so as to combat the anti-Yiddishist influence of Zionist organizations such as Hechalutz and Beitar: "We, a group of school supporters have decided that an educational organization must be established in Dukszty. We see that if there is no such organization which binds the youth so that they don't leave the school, tomorrow they will wind up being those types who throw stones at us. Nowadays, many of our colleagues whom we reckoned among our school supporters have joined the ranks of Hechalutz and Beitar."
