'Ve-seorev Olekho'  is the prayer recited before the kohanim bless the congregation, during the Mussaf Service of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.

One of the greatest cantors of the twentieth century, Sirota began his career as a cantor in Odessa.  He was also the cantor of the Great Synagogue in Vilna. In 1907 Sirota became the cantor at the Tlomackie Synagogue in Warsaw. Later on he travelled on concert tours performing to admiring audiences in many countries. Sirota was in Warsaw during World War II and died in the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943.
