Title:
Letter from Hebrew Actors Union to Yidisher Artistn Fareyn (Jewish Actors Union)
Description:
Reply from Reuben Guskin, an official of the Hebrew Actors Union in New York, to a telegram from the Yidisher Artistn Fareyn (Jewish Actors Union) in Warsaw accusing the American union of mistreating the Polish union's members. He denies the charge, claiming that the Hebrew Actors Union has behaved "warmly" to its European comrades, even allowing some who didn't become members of the New York union to go on performing. He asks Yankev Kelter, Chair of Yidisher Artistn Fareyn, to send him more details on exactly which members he is talking about and suggests that the protest was lodged hastily without any basis in fact.
