Established in 1915 by a group of Brisker societies to aid the war-stricken community of Brisk (Brest-Litovsk in Byelorussian and Brzesc nad Bugiem in Polish), Byelorussia. Undertook large-scale relief and rehabilitation work between World War I and World War II.  Located and sent relief to refugees and survivors of World War II.  Supported the Palestine yishuv (settlement) and institutions in the State of Israel.  Maintained branches in Newark, Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles. Active until 1978.
