Title:
"Blacklist No. 1"
Description:
Antisemitic flyer composed by students in Plock. [Signed NARRAD, Plock, November 1937.] "BLACKLIST  No. 11 (The Plock whip on  school kid jewlovers)."  [Cartoon of a boy with an onion for a head.] "Poor Clara, she had a nasty dream. She dreamt  that the head of Wladzio Kaniewski from the Jagiello Gymnasium after frequent shaving and haircutting at the jew Russek's  became a huge, big onion."  [ A school boy holds his nose] "'Damn it, this Zdziarska, she really smells like onion.'" [His companion] "'That’s not onion, that's perfume  from the jew Bzura… It’s going to be a real horror to have to dance with that kind. Maybe they will go to a different store.'"    [Misshapen men dancing a circle dance with two girls] "Stas Ostrowski and Mieczyslaw Sima dancing a jewdance with their girlfriends…"  [A pair of legs] "At the next gymnastics class, Wanda Rynkowska will show off her new shoes,  bought from the jew Klinger. See here, dear Wanda, how your pretty legs will look in jewish shoes."  [Written in cursive] "BEAUTIFUL AND DEAR LADY: I have no doubt that you appreciate the importance of the campaign to make Poland jew-free. Instead of being a passive onlooker of our efforts you could help significantly help us with just one word  to your many admirers, which will do more than all our fiery appeals. Thus, I am asking you to: 1) cut off  this attached letter; 2) sign it  with your name;  3) send it to those of your admirers who go to a jew.  I do not doubt that he is a good person. However, instead of loving only and exclusively you he loves also a few Abramkes and Ryfkes. So please, do scare him off…"
