Rachela (later Rachel) Holcer was bon in Krakow, Poland. She attended the Krakow Dramatic School. In 1925, she began performing in the Polish theater  "Piekarski." In 1926, she joined the "Krakow Jewish Dramatic Theater," which was directed by Jonas Turkow. She remained there until 1928. She also performed for a short time in the Vilna Troupe. She later immigrated to Australia, where she remained until her death.
